This is an illustration of Ms. Chloe Jackson, the eldest beast and ruler of the Klemz household.

Although we had anticipated this day for a very long time, earlier this week my wife and I made the painful decision to finally put her to rest. 

Our girl was definitely much more to us than just a “pet”.  Chloe was a family member, a friend, and a loving daughter equipped with razor sharp teeth and vicious claws that she took gleeful delight in using.  

She lived a very happy 17 years.

Chloe's ashes will be spread over an as-yet-to-be-determined location, preferably a beautiful garden.  We’ll also be making a donation in her memory to the animal shelter that Joanna rescued her from, where she was originally known as “Peggy”.
